Gyaana International School recognises that students are children and that their personal information requires special care. Information relating to students is handled primarily for legitimate educational, administrative, safety, communication and statutory purposes.

Where consent is required by applicable law for processing a child's personal data, the School follows the applicable requirements relating to consent from the parent or lawful guardian, and takes reasonable measures to prevent misuse, unauthorised disclosure or unnecessary publication of student information.

Subject to applicable law, parents/guardians may request information about data held, request correction or updates, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and raise complaints regarding data handling. If the School becomes aware of a personal-data security incident, it will take reasonable steps to assess, contain and address it, and make any notifications required under applicable law.
